Care Instructions

1. Clean gently. Dust the bag regularly with a soft cloth. Bag polish is not necessary, but can be used sparingly. Never use paint thinners or abrasive creams to clean.

2. Dry rattan bag well. A damp cloth with a mild cleaner may be used, but take care not to soak the bag. If it does become oversaturated, dry outdoors in the sun, if possible. The natural plant material will generally return to its original shape, so take care not to bend it while wet. 

3. Cleaning: Clean with a microfibre cloth. Brush the bag using a soft bristle brush. Sanitize the bag using a soft cloth slightly wet with mild soap or milk.

4. Humidify: Natural plant fibers require a certain level of humidity. Keep bag away from areas of severe heat as this can warp or dry out the bag. If you’re in a particularly dry area, add moisture to the air with a humidifier.

5. Light exposure: Do not store the bag for long periods in places exposed to sunlight but also artificial light.

6. Rain: Avoid wearing the bag when it rains or it can get wet and if it gets wet, make sure to dry it immediately with a microfibre cloth.

7. Heat: Keep the bag away from heat sources

8. Storage: When the bag is stored for long periods, fill it with tissue paper or bubble wrap plastic. Store the bag in its dust bag.

9. Wearing: While wearing the bag, do not fill it with very heavy objects to avoid its deformation.
